Copper buy-back in Tunisia
Copper is the best-valued non-ferrous metal. Its electrical and thermal conductivity makes it sought after by foundries and cable makers, and recycling does not degrade its qualities. It is also the metal where sorting makes the biggest difference to the price paid.
The grades we distinguish
- Bright bare copper: stripped wire, clean, free of oxidation. The best-paid grade.
- Second-grade bare copper: oxidised or lightly tinned wire and tube.
- Tubes and pipework: plumbing, air conditioning, heat exchangers, with brass fittings removed.
- Insulated cable: paid according to its copper content, assessed by cutting a sample.
- Electric motors and windings, transformers, alternators.
- Copper-brass radiators from vehicles and industry.
Why strip your cable
Insulated cable is paid on its estimated copper weight, therefore always below the market price. If your volume justifies it, stripping before delivery noticeably increases the value of the batch. For large volumes we strip the cable ourselves and explain the effect on the price before any agreement.

Grade check, weighing on a certified scale in your presence, then payment. As the copper price moves daily, call us on the day of delivery for the current rate.
